Libbys Brother raises £3760 in memory of his Sister & Uncle Vish

COVID019 Lockdown - Libby Mae's to the rescue

Lockdown due to Covid-19 meant that hospitals had to put restrictions in place with regards to visiting.  These restrictions have a huge impact on Neonatal Units as parents who can usually spend 24 hours a day with their babies are being told in some cases that only one parent can visit their baby for just one hour a day.  When Libby Maes heard this we had to step in to help.  We contacted all of our units and supplied them with ipad minis to help keep their parents and babies connected during the pandemic.     Read More...


Little Angels Big Appeal

We have launched an appeal to raise £500,000 to provide state-of-the-art incubators to all 12 Neonatal units in the West Midlands, to give vulnerable babies the best possible start in life.  Libby Mae's Little Angels was formed in 2013 by Richard and Charlotte Sharratt who tragically lost their daughter, Libby Mae, at just two weeks old. Incubator Donation

Following the huge success of their Caribbean Dreams Ball Libby Maes Little Angels used the money they raised to buy a state of the art incubator for Heartlands Hospital.  The Baby Leo incubator was lit up in the charities trademark colour pink for the official presentation.  Charlotte & Rich surprised staff with a guest appearance from their celebrity supporter Will Mellor for the handover of the incubator.       Read More...


2019 Ball raises over £26k

Family run charity, Libby Mae’s Little Angels, raised £26,348 at their annual ball held at the MacDonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham on 5th October.   The ball was sponsored by Arbury Motors and this year, all funds from the ball are going towards a Baby Leo Incubator at Heartlands Hospital. The specialised piece of equipment is worth £26,000 and is vital for saving babies’ lives. Daisy Communications host charity Golf Day

On Friday the 20th of September at the Belfry Hotel and Resort Sutton Coldfield, Daisy Communications hosted their charity golf day on the hotel’s historic Brabazon Course. Raising just over £4,675 for local midland charity Libby Mae’s Little Angels, the money will go towards Libby Mae’s Memory Boxes. Charity Golf Day 2019

Gaudet Luce Golf & Leisure Complex were the hosts for Libby Mae’s Little Angels Charity Golf Day on 18th June 2019. 14 teams came together to raise money for this fantastic cause. Libby Mae’s Little Angels is a local charity ran by Catshill couple Charlotte & Richard Sharratt. Bromsgrove based charity Libby Mae’s Little Angels were on hand to answer the prayers of parents and staff at Hereford County Hospitals Neonatal Unit when they asked for help renovating their parent accommodation rooms. Local Charity spread Festive Cheer

   As promised, our 2018 CIRCUS Ball was the biggest and best yet! Star guests included Dancing on Ice Winner and X Factor and I’m a Celebrity contestant Jake Quickenden who performed on the night, Birmingham’s very own Alison Hammond who hosted the event and was supported by Love Island couple Jess and Dom and CBB star Dan Osborne. Local Boxer Puts 9 Years of Retirement Behind Him to Help Local Cause

Skydiving for Local Cause

Local Removals & Storage Company Warren’s Removals have completed a Skydive in memory of Little angel Libby Mae.  Owner Warren Leggett contacted the charity and asked their permission to raise money for the cause and advised that his team would love to raise £1000.00.   An online fundraising page was set up and donations flew in,  the total raised surpassed the target raising over £1500.00!     Read More...


Afternoon Tea for Charity

On 16th August Fairfield Village & Community Association hosted an Afternoon Tea ay the village hall to raise funds for local charity Libby Maes Little Angels.   The event was a sell out and even after being let down by a local restaurant members clubbed together and put on an amazing spread.   The talk and presentation given by Richard moved a lot of people in the room.  We know it cannot be easy but your strength has supported many families – Thank you.   The event raised £278.00 for Libby Mae’s Little Angels.     Read More...

Saturday 24th June, a boxing event was held in the marquee at Bromsgrove Rugby Club to raise money for local charity Libby Libby Mae’s Little Angels.  The event organised and run by Bromsgrove man Martin Smith saw 10 well matched bouts.  The event was ticket only and raised a whopping £3500 for the charity.  Charlotte and Rich (Libby’s Mommy and Daddy) attended along with their Dads and held a raffle which raised an additional £300 on the night.  All money raised will go towards supporting the vital world of our regions neonatal units.  The even... New Technology Partner

Midshire Business Systems have become our official Technology Partner. Midshire have donated a full colour desktop photocopier for the charity to use and has installed a new 22” tiny table complete with bespoke charity branded surround at Birmingham Women’s Hospital. The Tiny Table which houses a 22” interactive screen will be used for training, parent information and also to keep siblings and babies attending outpatients clinic entertained. Mother’s Day 2018

Mother’s on Neonatal Units at Good Hope, Heartlands, Worcester and Birmingham Women’s Hospitals received a gift from us for Mother’s Day. Bringing Christmas Cheer to Neonatal Units

Christmas 2017 we teamed up with our Patrons EZE Group to deliver gifts to Good Hope, Heartlands, New Cross, Walsall Manor, City, Worcester, Birmingham Children’s and Birmingham Women’s Hospitals. EZE Group launched a Christmas Shoe Box Appeal where they asked their members to send in donations of items ranging from chocolates for parents to toys for the babies. Former Birmingham City and Hull City footballer Craig Fagan has been a supporter of the charity from very early on. Bought up in Bromsgrove Fagan was known by Libby’s Daddy and has always attended events in the local area where possible. 2017 - A SUMMER OF CARNIVALS & FETES

We love the summer months, as it brings carnivals and fetes galore. From Redditch Scarecrow, Wythall Carnival, Belbroughton Scarecrow Festival and many more our big PINK gazebo (aka the Libby Tent) stood out in the crowds and attracted hundreds of people to our Teddy Tombolas. However, the one that stood out in 2017 was Bromsgrove Carnival, one because we were one of their chosen charities and secondly it was so amazing with the return of the floats. We went to London to visit the Queen

Brave Isabelle has the chop in aid of 2 amazing causes

8 year old Isabelle Dawson decided to have her long locks cut and pledged to donate her hair to The Princess Trust who make wigs for children with Cancer.  Isabelle heard abut our charity and decided that she wanted to raise money for us at the same time. Libby Mae gets her own identity with the launch of a new bracelet

Libby Mae has finally got her own identity with the launch of our new charity bracelet.  The idea was by Birmingham Jeweller Terry Terry to make a new bracelet.  As a charity we decided to stop making the Pink and white bracelets and replace these with a lovely new Black and Pink, the pink bead being 'the bright light that shone out of the darkness'. Go Pink 4 Libby 2017

Lots of companies got involved in Go PINK 4 Libby to help raise awareness of our cause and lots of money was raised too.  This event is held every year on Libby Mae's Birthday 26th April.  We celebrated this year with a 3 course dinner at Hotel Du Vin in Birmingham where 50 guests joined us, we released 75 balloons into the skies above the city with tags on, to date we have had one returned being the one released by Libby Mae's little brother Riley.   Read More...

on 19th April Libby Mae's Mommy & Daddy were invited along to our local Co-Op Store for the local fundraising presentation awards.  The charity was nominated and supported by Co-Op Stores in Bromsgrove for 6 months following the launch of their new membership scheme.  Each member was able to select which cause they would like to support and Libby Mae's Little Angels received a staggering £3775.30.   Read More...


Golf Day

5th April 2017 was our very first Charity Golf Day.  The event sponsored by International Wifi provider Global Connect was a huge success.  Attended by Celebrity Big Brother star Jamee O'Hara and ex Professional footballers we had 16 teams playing and the overall winners were MTGS. Making New Mommies Smile on Mother's Day

Mother's Day saw Libby Mae's Little Angels take to the roads for a Libby Mae hospital tour.  Two groups of Charity members and volunteers visited hospitals to deliver chocolates and cards to Mommies with babies on neonatal Units at Worcester Royal, Heartlands, Birmingham Womens, Russells Hall, City and Walsall Manor Hospitals.  The choclolates which were bought from Thorntons in Solihull at a heavily discounted price and cards supplied by Small Prints, Bromsgrove were given out to every Mom on the units and were left at the bedside for any Moms who were not present when we visited. &... We have been invited to The Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace

Over the course of each year, The Queen welcomes over 30,000 guests to spend a relaxed summer afternoon in the beautiful gardens of Buckingham Palace or the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
